JavaZone rocks!

Friday June 25, 2010

The JavaZone folks put up a great trailer for "Java 4-ever" A Masterpiece!! :-) It's hilarious. Way better than anything the folks in the Emerald City could do (or would do! Wusses!). Thanks! You made my day.
[ Update: this video got pulled from YouTube because of a copyright violation complaint against JavaZone. Surprise! ]

Comments:

The Java community in Norway is really something special. You should come visit us at JavaZone.

James, Chasing the dragon tale has proven to me that its an elusive old dragon. While this movie was fun and informative, it reminded me of who you are and -- well -- I'm trying to revolutionize compilers and universal programming languages. Since you're unemployed, I'm wondering if you would be interested in joining our team or otherwise advising us, NDAs and non-comps aside. We have a nifty start to a grand vision, and without endangering my project I'd like to see if we can connect and ruminate over how to keep our little team funded and our project continuing. We share a lot of commonalities. I think you'd find it exciting stuff, or at least I'd hope you would. Email me if you'd like to set up a call. Of course, we'd be honored. H3

A really cool video clip! I just wish they could have done without the pointless sex-scene no matter how short it was, cos now I can't send it to my bosses :S

There's a sex scene? And, it has Java?!? Someone send me an invite! (cuz it's private)

Hi James, this is a shot in the dark, but I'm doing a research paper on the origins, growth, and future of the Java Programming Language for a class at my university. Any chance I could do an email interview with you with about 5 questions?

I can't see it, get a message about it being a private video :(

@Simon: It seems that youtube now requires registration to view videos. I was able to watch the video just a couple of days ago, then now I can't. Apparently if you have a gmail account you can use that :P
